History

Kammarton Bulgaria started in 1991 as a representation office of the Swedish company Kammarton.

In 1992 a branch company was registered as per local regulations. Initially the company had its office set in the center of Sofia, 38 Shipka street.

The first office outside Sofia started in 1991 in Gabrovo.

Next several years new offices were opened in Russe, Stara Zagora, Novi Pazar, Plovdiv, Varna, Vratsa, Burgas, Blagoevgrad and Svishtov.

In 2000 the daughter company PROFS, representing chain of shops, was registered. This initiative was successful and PROFS used to manage 8 shops in Sofia, Sliven, Pleven, Haskovo, Smolyan, Troyan, Varna and Vidin until 2014, when PROFS merged with Kammarton Bulgaria.

In 2000 first modules of a new tailor made ERP system are implemented. The system is being developed permanently.

In 2005 the company implemented Quality system in accordance to ISO 9001:2000, which was further developed into an integrated management system as per ISO 9001:2015.

In 2007, accepting the offer of the Swedish giant and European leader in the production of office furniture Kinnarps AB to become its sole distributor for Bulgaria, the company starts a new business line “Office furniture”.

In 2015 an integrated system is implemented, thus adding to ISO 9001:2015 also ISO 14001:2015 for environmental protection and OHSAS 18001:2007 to guarantee safe and healthy working conditions.

In 2018 Kammarton Bulgaria became one of the co-founders and a member of the Swedish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.
