On March 25, 2023, the national competition for the best young welder of Bulgaria from vocational high schools was held on the territory of the production base of the company Neksas Ltd, Sofia. The organizers of the competition were the Ministry of Education and Science, the Bulgarian Welding Society and Neksas Ltd. Kammarton Bulgaria supported the initiative with prizes and gifts. The competition was attended by students from more than 10 vocational high schools from Burgas, Beloslav, Knezha, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Silven, Dupnitsa, Elhovo, Kazanlak, Yambol from the professional field "Mechanical engineering, metalworking and metallurgy" and the field "Motor vehicles, ships and aircraft'.
They competed for distinction in the following categories:
- Welding Skills Competition - process 135
- Welding Skills Competition - process 111
- Welded art composition on the theme of "Sustainable Development"
The competition provides an opportunity for the students from vocational high school studying Welding to measure their strengths by demonstrating their high skills in welding, as well as their creativity, their forward thinking and ideas.
