Common Characteristics
The new networkable iBird® Pro CL has been specially designed for industrial environments and can be quickly and wirelessly integrated into a production environment (e.g. PLC) using the GESIPA® interface. It is possible to connect up to three iBird® Pro CL simultaneously via the associated iBird® application on one interface. The data from the counting function and the standard integrated setting process assistant can be sent to the customer‘s own network for further processing via MQTT.
2-way communication
The device communicates with the PLC and the PLC with the device. This bidirectional communication allows the device to be controlled, but the riveting result can also be processed by the customer PLC and utilised for further line control. Among other things, this enables digital worker guidance or the ejection of niO parts.

The networked iBird® Pro CL rechargeable blind riveting tool thus offers users all aspects of industrial process optimisation that they need to process acceleration, error reduction, quality control and even preventive maintenance or logging of components. Ultimately, the use of the iBird® Pro CL can contribute to sustainable optimisation of the value chain and cost reductions in industrial production thanks to the numerous and easily provided data.
