- For filing flat surfaces, sharp corners and shoulders as well as for deburring.
- Sometimes preferred because its pointed shape enables the user to reach more easily into angles and corners.
- Surfaces double cut, one edge uncut, one edge single cut.
- Type of cut: 1 = Bastard, 2 = Second, 3 = Smooth.
